First light over the Campsie Hills, Strathblane

I awoke very early this morning just before daybreak at around 5 o'clock. There was not a breath of wind in evidence and I realised that a very attractive sky was materialising. The view is over to the Campsie Hills, Strathblane. I photographed this scene from a similar viewpoint on 13th February in snowy conditions. However, only around this time of year is it possible to see the sunrise over the hills. It is a heart-warming sight, which I have to admit I don't witness too often!
I adjusted the highlights, shadows and contrast a little to more clearly define the features of the scene, including the trees in full leaf at last.
