Now and then

I have been working on my photobook but have decided to add some up to date pictures to compare with what has gone before.  I think this will result in more pages and become a more expensive book - but oh well?  I took a picture of the veg patch (cutting garden) to go in the book.  While I was taking the photo I noticed there were lots of sweet pea pods which needed picking.  The flowers have been amazing this year so I am hoping that saving seeds for next year will mean another good harvest.

No.1 came home today.  OH drove over to pick her up and it was good to have her home where she will continue her convalescence.  Bruises have continued to go down and hopefully she will continue to rest and recover.  I did a bit of pottering in the garden while she slept but it turned a bit chilly so sat and read for a while instead.  Another day done.
