Pells Pool

Swim tourist alert. Sunset swim this evening at the Pells Pool in Lewes, East Sussex. The water temperature at midday today was 20.7C so by 7pm it was a bit cooler. Lovely fresh non-chlorinated workout.

Built in 1860 for mill workers to bathe, the 46 metre lido is the oldest freshwater outdoor swimming baths in the UK. Interesting history found on wiki. During WWII the fire service practised drills in the pool.

Quiet drive back to Kent at 8pm after my swim. It was nice catching up with my bro’s today and I still managed a few work emails organising meetings. Have laptop will travel!
