New pasture at last!
We opened the gate to the new part of the pasture after lunch and dismantled the fence that was separating it from the old part. The heifers were so hungry that after twenty minutes they had got hardly more than 50 metres away from the gate, but they did enjoy the larger area later.
We had summer theatre trip to Sappee in the evening. The play was about the life story of Mikko Alatalo, a musician and a parlamentarian. It was a musical and the actors were good singers, and the band backing them was good, too. Not very profound except the part about his first wife's suicide, but it's summer theatre and a musical after all.
Noticed sad news on Facebook. Our former vicar, who christened both our sons, had died. Then heard that a fellow farmer's wife had also died.
