Otter and Ospreys….

ok no bee but to stand knee deep in Dryas octopetala (Mountain Avens)covering the whole hillside and watch an otter in the river below catching and eating a fish was quite something! Then to hear a chirrup, recognise the call and see two Ospreys above, superb. Lots of Yellow Mountain Saxifrage flowering here too.  Also, found a pair of Common Darter entwined in their love heart. Have loads of shots of everything but have decided to stick to one a day posting purely as a record. It was hot and sunny and glorious!
