Cairn

Today DS#2 and DrSJ flew into Marseille and we had said we would pick them up as thier arrival was quite late. A day was made of it taking in a couple of archaeologicla sites and three pretty little villages, before driving on to Marseille airport and then heading home by 10pm.
The site above was only exposed by flooding in the 1990s and with the river nicreasingly eating away at it, the whole thing was excavated, removed and then reconstrucuted as in the image above.
Quite an imprssive site and not a single signpost to help find it
