The trail coincides with Clan’s 40th anniversary, with the 40 hares being the focal point to celebrate the charity’s commitment to supporting people affected by cancer.

Similar events have inspired all generations to take part and have genuine value – socially, culturally and economically. The trails introduce new businesses to the arts, injecting additional monies into the creative sector and developing new audiences to enjoy and explore the north-east’s unique qualities and cultural offer.
