This little guy has been driving my dog crazy for weeks now. The dog is in turn driving me crazy with his barking. Usually, rabbits don't come so close to the house but for some reason this one is pretty brave and even stops on the lawn and will sit for a while right in front of my back door. He doesn't seem to be bothered much by the dog's bark.
I grabbed my camera to get a picture of him and of all things to spook him, the click of the shutter on the camera made his ears go up and he jumped! I guess he's camera shy! I managed to get a decent photo before he fled.
The heat broke today with thunderstorms popping up and occasional downpours. I thought about taking a walk when the sun made a brief appearance but when I looked out the window I noticed ½ a dozen cicadas flying around and decided it wasn't worth it. You probably think I'm being silly about these red-eyed bugs but I happen to live down the street from the local high school and I see the kids walking home from school swatting and screeching at these things and I would rather get my aerobic exercise without the entire neighborhood being an audience to my overreaction. My luck I'd end up on YouTube!
