A nice spot for a picnic
Today I was planting out annuals and running errands, and I stopped off briefly in Swaim Park for a blip. On the far side of the shelter is a small lake with a fountain, which you can just about make out through the trees, so it makes a nice spot to take your lunch. In the evening, Roger and I were out for dinner with members of the handbell choirs from our church and their spouses, or other guest. We won't be playing again until September - the music program takes a break for the summer, with music being provided by Joe, our director/pianist/organist and soloists or ensembles. We're always ready for the break, but equally ready to get back to it at the end of August!
