Another dull view.

Woken by the phone. My father in law had died in the night, at least my wife was down there.
Soon the phone rang again. The hospital had cultured something in my blood and I needed to go back. 

Wife returned in the afternoon so back at hospital by 4.15. In a bed at 11.30 pm.

Not the best of holidays.
