Staple Tor
I met up with my pal John this afternoon an climbed up to Great Staple Tor. The weather was lovely, which, to be honest, was a bit of a disappointment. I'd have liked it to be a bit more overcast or at least some more cloud. There you are, you just can't please a photographer!
We moved off to Mary Tavy for a pub meal and a natter and refreshed we went on to Brentor and the little church of St Michael de Rupe which stands at an elevation of 300 metres above sea level. It's the parish church but most people prefer to attend Christ Church in the village which is a bit easier to get to. it's a lovely place and you can see for miles. You can see it as an extra.
