Flower pot festival

Four Bus Pass Walkers ventured on a grand day out to Settle. Buses to Bingley, Keighley, Skipton and Settle got us there around midday. Some caught with seconds to spare. We enjoyed refreshments in the Olde Naked Man cafe (fortunately no old naked men to be seen)! Then a potter round the market and shops of Settle - not much walking done. Queued for a while the 2.30 bus back then a bus came through and the drivers announced that the buses were all cancelled due to an accident and fuel in the road! Plan B was implemented and fortunately there was a train at 3.06 which would take us straight back to Bingley. Hopped off the train and straight onto a bus back to the village. There was an alarm sounding somewhere on the bus and after we got off the driver got out and was looking at the engine. Oh dear we do have a very bad effect on these machines
