Prawn Star

I don’t usually blip a plate of food but it’s so unusual for us to have seafood that I thought it was worth preserving. With both of our non-fish eating people absent, I treated Alfie and I to a prawn risotto. I hardly ever cook prawns so I was a bit terrified. I doubled up the number of prawns (one pack didn’t look enough and I like to live dangerously) and we ate every bit. It was really lovely.
It’s been a successful week, food wise as I’ve also made a huge cottage pie and chicken curry (with chapatis) for mum and dad to try and help them out while mum recovers from her op. No one has died so far so….
Endured 3 hours of a highly patronising and bone crushingly boring speed awareness course this morning. Next time I’m taking the points.
