Hard at Work

A driech morning.  CyclopsJnr did Lego while Cyclops did some more work to seal the back window.  Then we made up a batch of mortar and we both did some pointing.  When the rain came on again we retreated inside to play Uno and Junior Monopoly.  CyclopsJnr discovered how to use and FM radio (manual tuning, no touchscreen or search function) to give us some musical accompaniment.
 
In the afternoon we went to the car and CyclopsJnr decided to walk over on his own (10 minutes behind Cyclops) to see if he could find his way.  We had walkie talkies to keep in touch, and much to his delight he made it across unaided! 
 
We drove to the wee shop to get some pocket money sweets.  The shopkeeper told us people were getting mackerel off the pier, but we decided not to have another go today and instead take advantage of improving weather to go and make some sandcastles on the beach.
