New cat on the block

I am not sure who is this cat belongs to. It has only appeared recently and could be another feral cat as it disappears quickly when I approach.  It may be more dominant than the other cats as I often find it sitting on the bench which other cats like to frequent. I shopped early this morning and returned in time to have coffee with Francoise who is down from Normandy sorting out her late aunt's house. Nicole was the lady who ran our conversation class for several years and who died recently. Francoise stayed for lunch and agreed to come along to French conversation in the afternoon to fulfil the role her aunt undertook some years ago. We had a very pleasant session.
