How made is this?

Hello Everyone,

I got a couple of jobs done in the workshop this morning… It is quite hard to think what to do whilst I am on light duties as most things are reasonably heavy. Anyway, just before I left, I started tinkering with this very old angle poise magnifying lamp and noticed some retaining screws were missing and I had no clue where they would be. I resolved myself to the fact that I would have to find some replacements.

Last night I purchased a Senior Railcard… the one I had previously I never used due to COVID, and I was not happy at coughing up £30 for a railcard when they seem to be on strike a lot. But as I must go to London in August for a reunion of the cyclist who used to race on the now gone Paddington Velodrome (Track) the sums added up and this one trip should pretty much pay for the card. 

This afternoon when I got home from the workshop, I started to search for my Oyster card in readiness for the trip. Whilst looking in a cupboard for it… I came across the bits for the angle poise lamp. I have still not found the Oyster card, maybe I’ll find it in the workshop tomorrow – lol.
