New footpath number 3.

We are continuing our search in the AONB for footpaths which are new to us. We have been driving round the back lanes and marking on a map footpath signs for paths we have never tried.

Today’s path took us through areas of the Leighton Hall estate. It was a delightful mixture of trees and open meadows.
The main shot is a splendid Oak. You can see its size by looking in the lower right hand corner of the shot.
A lovely area though not botanically rich.

A couple more in extras. The large limestone boulder looked as though it might be an erratic deposited by the melting glaciers of the last ice age.
