Time For Tea!

I walked to Boston Spa (and back) this morning - I needed some milk and bread and the shop in our village is closed for refurbishment!! Hopefully a shiny new Post Office/Store will emerge in a few days.

I passed this suspicious looking character lurking on the footpath near the shops..

It seems that it is a leftover from the recent “Village Festival” which included a scarecrow trail.

A nice colourful blip.

I managed to get the grass cut when I got back..it seems to be growing very fast at the moment..all that rain has a lot to answer for. Fortunately I had just got it finished and the mower away before the heavens opened.
