Metal Firecracker . . . Lucinda Williams

The book is a memoir by Lucinda Williams and the title comes from her song Metal Firecracker.  It is one of her many songs based on an affair that has ended. All she asks in that the guy won't tell her secrets to others.  I absolutely love her records and saw her once when she came to Wellington.  In her memoir I guess she will be telling her own secrets. How does this relate to blip?  Well today I have got to 3,000 blips and those lovely people who follow me do know some of my secrets.  Even when I don't write much I think the image I post says something about me and my day and how I see the world.  I have just skimmed through the book and will settle in to read it with pleasure later.  At the end she has a list of thoughts on living a good life from her point of view:
Read, and she lists some authors, Listen, and she list some artists, drive across America, fly to countries beyond your comfort zone, try different things, join hands across the water . . .
She's my kind of woman. So thanks for coming along on my blip ride.  I just do what I do.  I still don't use photoshop or lightroom.  I haven't joined the camera club. I just get an intrinsic pleasure from using my camera and sharing in this community.
