Clearout

Had a bit of a stocktake of preserves and a sortout of kitchen storage today, throwing out a lot of plastic containers that have accumulated over time. They were kept in this old crisp box.

When Miss Flum was in early teens her snack of choice was Smith's Square Crisps, which we bought by the boxful at the Cash and Carry. When empty this particular box became storage container for items in the island unit, like cat food, then stuff that didn't have anywhere else to go but might be useful sometime.. .

Well, it hasn't proved useful, the box gradually disintegrated and it and the other stuff (or most of it...)are now in the bin (as appropriate to content, of course).

Which leaves a nice gap to fill with other stuff, currently the Gluten-free items we need nowadays.
