For Theresa

I have previously told you about the premature death of Theresa Short, deputy manager of Kensington Gardens. She was much loved by all involved with the parks and was taken too soon. It has hit all the parks people very hard.

Today was her funeral. There was a massive turn out of people representing the parks and the Friends of the parks. She said that Kensington Gardens and Brompton cemetery where she worked were her happy places. 

Here are the floral tributes from l to r: the parks management team, the Friends of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, the Royal Parks and the contractors who Theresa worked with, ID Verde. All so beautiful.

Theresa had a beautiful soul and I believe that the soul lives on.
