On Guard

We visited this castle today at Flint. Pepper had a lovely time because she was able to chase a ball quite a lot, although I did get her to pose for me. The castle was an important defence in its day but now seems to be invaded by youths on motorised scooters. Times change.

We had trouble finding a site this evening but now on a very pleasant small farm. The downside is that the farm was hacked apart by the A55 (main Welsh cost road) so there is constant traffic noise the other side of a hedge!!

This morning we met up with John's nephew who works in this area; haven't seen him for years!
