Helper

Not the earliest of starts today (having gone back to bed and to sleep after Bailey's breakfast) but I have not inhabited the sofa today. Instead, I have had the sewing machine out for the first time in an age and made two - very straightforward - tops.  Just three pieces in the pattern and the most difficult bit being the neck binding which I don't think I got right on either version but I am quite pleased with my endeavours. Bailey 'helped' at the cutting out stage but has mainly mooched in and out of the garden and in and out of his bed. He's had two walks and the rain held off long enough for my washing to dry so a good day all round.
