Border Force being furtive

We hear daily about immigration activities in the English Channel. against a background of the nastiest possible political rhetoric from the nastiest possible UK Government it's been possible to imagine ... so far ... though worse dystopian futures are indeed imaginable. Small wonder that I and so many friends and colleagues are working for independence.

Meanwhile, here in the civilised Highlands, the arrival of the Freeport means we have to add layers of security to our day to day activities. I've no idea whether this visit from the Border Force has anything to do with that. I'd expect arrival by car from the airport, and inspections of paperwork. Still, I did notice that the vessel didn't show up on the Marine Traffic app or website, preferring to sneak up on Invergordon unannounced.
