We used to have several pairs of Collar Doves visit the garden regularly but over time they got fewer and fewer, I suspect the Sparrowhawk had something to do with that !!.   So it was heartening to see one on the bird table this morning, albeit in the pouring rain.     
I took advantage of the wet morning to do some baking and also made some Quorn cottage pies, I ate one for dinner earlier and put two in the freezer.   The rain cleared early afternoon so we went for a nice long walk where Luna met some of her doggie pals, whilst they played I caught up with their owners.
