Taking back the Gown

...though by this point she had got really used to wearing it and was sorry to see it go. We'd thought that a teatime Graduation might be a bit of a faff but actually it turned out very well - meaning that we had time to go for breakfast and visit the Baltic whilst she was getting herself ready in the morning and then there was still plenty of time for the gowning, photographs, picking up tickets and all that at a leisurely pace in the afternoon before the ceremony itself at 5.30. And the 'Free Prosecco' reception finished at just the right time to uber it straight over to Jesmond for the celebratory Italian meal. A lovely day all-round. Photo by Beck.
