In Bloom

Have had a nightmare with dahlias this year, lost lots over the winter, and any that did make it through and started growing were soon munched on by slugs and snails!! But at least this one is starting to bloom well and adding some nice colour to a grey day!

The rain started at lunchtime, perfect holiday weather for my Mum and Dad who have gone off on a coach holiday today for the week to Shropshire!  But I've not been alone today as the cat - Fluffy 1 - decided to come indoors and sleep for 3 hours on my bed and has just ventured back out into the garden, now that the rain has eased off! Tough life!!
