Scout Scar

A walk up onto Scout Scar this morning.  But, instead of starting at Helsington I drove to Sizergh and walked from there - added a couple of miles to the overall walk but very pleasurable.  I haven't been up on Scout Scar for a while and it was good to see all the pretty flowers growing on the top and, as it was quite clear, I could see for miles - the Langdale Pikes are on the left of the photograph.

A quick cup of tea back at Sizergh.  It was heaving by the time I returned as it is the first day of the school holidays.
