My Mom’s Plant

Clivia miniata or just plain Clivia, is blooming! I brought it to my house last August after she passed and put it outside on my deck this summer. Apparently it’s happy, and so am I. It reminds me of her. Almost a year later.

Busy but fun day with my son and the grands, and my nephew brought his 4 year old daughter to join in the fun. The kids had a blast playing.

Then I went to dinner at my friend Lisa’s house. Old friends are in town for member-guest golf tournaments…the men’s over the weekend and the women’s Tuesday. So we celebrated by having a bunch of friends for dinner. Great to see them.
