cousin

Nick is my cousin and a week older than me. He likes to visit when up this way and in return for B&B he takes me out to dinner, which is very nice. This time his wife Helen came with him, as they are on their way to visit friends in Co Mayo and take the ferry from Cairnryan tomorrow morning. We had a lovely meal at Casa Mia in Dumfries.

I'd been up early this morning to go shopping and to have a swim and sauna. Thinking I should do that more often - I was home by 11am with lots of the day still ahead of me. I did spent a lot of the day hoovering but there was plenty left over for a walk and for tea and chat with Nick and Helen in the afternoon.

Off to Edinburgh tomorrow to fetch another guest :-)
