Red Letter Day

Our butterfly bush is attracting lots of attention! Many thrilling season firsts today: an eastern tiger swallowtail butterfly, a red admiral butterfly and both species of clearwing hummingbird moths! And, as you can see, a female monarch butterfly visited the milkweed • Can you see the smile on my face?!? • The weather today has been spectacular too: bright sunshine, no threats of rain and no humidity.
