Hollie Day

A big change from yesterday. We have had sunshine, blue skies, warm breezes and just a few light showers.

This morning I took Hollie for a long walk ( three hours) to make up for her being stuck in all day yesterday.

We walked the Three Castles Walk in Corvedale  and from a high point watched the clouds scudding across the sky and the patchwork quilt of countryside changing  colour as the sunlight and shadows played on the landscape.

Heaven.

This afternoon I continued with my  'little landscape project' which I will tell more about in future blips. Its a nice one but taking a while because of the weather and other commitments.

Mrs I cooked a fabulous Sunday dinner which we ate whilst watching the highlights of the golf on TV. Harman is a machine and deservedly won a superb competition. Shame about the cricket. A big anti climax after three fantastic days dominated by the England team. All for nothing in the end.
