Caught CHA coach for scenic drive to Ambleside - walked over Loughrigg Fell - from where blip taken - dropped down to Rydal Water - then walked a trail to Grasmere for refreshments - but missed the gingerbread shop - prior to more direct journey home - saw a lot of water - Grasmere in extra - even given rain the spirits of walkers weren’t dampened - still took in some splendid views
