Lily

This is Lily, who thinks it is very clever climbing trees to annoy the robins next door who have been shreaking at her all morning. She belongs to my sister-in -law who we have been staying with all weekend and she is a bit clueless when it comes to stalking birds. She really thinks she is invisible up in that tree.
I have had two firsts this weekend - I saw a kingfisher streaking along the River Avon on Sunday - this is the first time I have ever seen one even though we are surrounded by rivers in Winchester.
Then today, on our way back home, I saw a gaggle of geese by the roadside with a tiny golden yellow gosling - I have never seen a gosling before either.
How can I get to be this ancient and not have seen either?
