Early Bath

Another damp day! I decided I would have a bath this morning instead of the usual quick shower. I used one of my stock of bath bombs, hence the colour of the water! I noticed the colours match the cover of my book. Both the book and bath bomb were birthday presents! 

This afternoon I walked up to Tesco to buy some ingredients to make a rhubarb and custard tart with the rhubarb I picked up when I was in Metheringham last week. Brian brought me back and after lunch I spent the afternoon making the tart. It has come out well despite the rhubarb taking twice as long to cook as the 15 minutes stated in the recipe.

More Challenge Cup Rugby League to watch - Wigan played Hull KR. It was an intense game, once again we had someone sent off - in my opinion he should not have been. It was a hard tackle - and alleged contact with the head. If our player had made contact with the guy's head he would not have got up. As it was he did not even need to go off for a head injury assessment and just played on as normal - he was Man of the Match at the end and he certainly played a blinder milking that sending off!

Despite that it was all square at full time and we ended up losing on Golden Point - a gutting way to lose a cup semi-final if ever there was one!
