Didn’t Cost A Bomb

I could have titled this: “If Carlsberg Did Sundays”. Started the day with brunch with 2 of my oldest friends. I think you can work out where.

This was followed by an afternoon viewing of Oppenheimer. Wow, what a film! I know it’s early but if Cillian Murphy & Robert Downey Jr don’t get nominated next February for Oscars, I’m resigning from the Academy.

I confess I didn’t recognise Gary Oldman as Harry Truman. One of the reasons I always stay for the credits, and to see who was the “best boy”.
