Whitewater dash

We set off in the rain, and got wetter and wetter, as we walked up to Whitewater dash.

Meanwhile, Tam and Jim ran up to Whitewater dash, then steeply up to Bakestall ( a Wainwright near Skiddaw ).

Our reward was a splendid lunch at Lingholm near Keswick. ( see extra photos )

Tam and Jim were up for my birthday weekend, bringing several really lovely presents and a fabulous birthday cake!
