At the London Stadium

It’s several years since I’ve been to the London Stadium..which I still think of as the Olympic Stadium. Now branded with so much West Ham stuff too.
It was nice to go to an athletics meeting but rather different as although there were many GB athletes they were wearing their sponsors kit not BG kit as many of the events were for the Diamond League. The only notable British win was a British record by Darnel Hughes in the 200m. 
Went with my daughter and met a couple of friends there. It was soooo busy on the trains and around Stratford so we left before the last event and the journey home was OK. 

After the horrid weather yesterday we were equipped with jumpers and rain gear but none needed. It was actually very hot and sweaty all day! Such a contrast. Good views from our seats as I had booked early..in August last year!
