The seemingly endless summer continues

But I/we spent most of the day inside.
Watched some football (WWC) and then more football LA Galaxy v Wrexham.
I was interested to see how Wrexham would fare against an MLS side 2nd string. No problems, they trounced them 4-0.
There was also much talk about future trips. After cancelling some booked flights and getting the refunds a few days ago,, we found a hotel deal back in PV for September. Our usual hotel will be closed for renos but another hotel from the same chain had a deal on. It's a step down from our usual so things could get interesting as the inevitable comparisons will be made.
But that all depends on whether we can find a deal on flights. That's the next job.
