Our pond is looking very healthy at the moment - after a spell with blanket weed. Although we have plenty of newts, frogs have been in short supply, so I was pleased to see a big fat one dive in earlier in the week. This morning as I did a bit of gardening, this fine chap appeared on the path emerging from the wild meadow, heading to the pond.
