Happy heart

We drove up to the mountains to spend a couple days with my oldest son Tate as he celebrates his 49th birthday doing what he loves..playing music and singing. This evening he and his band mates played an outdoor show at a local micro brewery. Perfect weather, big crowd and they sounded great singing reggae music. So happy to see him on the stage.

Time and music are great healers as three years ago on his birthday he was struggling with a very nasty divorce. It makes this mommas heart very grateful that he has moved on and is in a much better place.

Tomorrow the grand girls are coming here for a birthday meal. Another happy dance from me!

How did he get to be 49??!!!! We can compare gray hair now but his is actually prettier than mine! I might have to do some coloring so I can have this salt and pepper look!
