Evening primrose and banana plants

I grabbed this scene in between showers and while the scene was still damp. From my study I look down everyday and these banana plant leaves seemed to be intermingling with the evening primrose plants. The latter have self-seeded all over the garden much to my delight. I fear the lack of warmth and sunshine in recent weeks will mean the plants' stems will flower very quickly. Certainly their iconic fragrance seems unusually dulled at present. Lets hope we get some sunshine before too long and the air will be freshened once again.
