Doves

A lovely sunny day and after a morning tussling with moving furniture about ready for laying a new carpet, I spent the afternoon planting out some of the plants that dear friend Doffy gave me yesterday.
The aquilegia has spread itself around the garden and looking good,
the common name for it is Columbine which is latin for dove & named after it as if you look closely the back of the flowers look like five doves with their beaks meeting at the top and their wings open.
