Filthy!

The guy who lived in Melanie’s flat before has never cleaned. Today I was removing some awful silver plastic splashback from behind the cooker. He had glued it on with No More Nails glue. I managed to get the plastic off but No More Nails remained and couldn’t be scraped off. I went to the local hardware shop and a lovely elderly Indian man with an amazing handlebar moustache told me to try WD40.
I bought some and he was right! Except one bit still wouldn’t shift. We also needed a philips-head screwdriver to remove a wonky shelf so we asked Tam from the flat above and he came and got the No more Nails off, took the shelf off the wall and also gave us a tub of filler. By this time we were tired and hungry so we went to the chippy!

The art room walls are finished.
It’s been nice during our tea breaks to just sit and chat. :-)
