The Great Wall

Well, we think it is:-) All finished now, as the builders returned to fit the copings and pillar caps. They look very light and dazzling in the sunshine, but we have been assured that they "weather" very quickly to become a much softer shade. Let's hope so! Just the gate to be re-hung by my husband, but no rush for that, which is just as well as he plans to go fishing for the next couple of days!

The weather turned out better at the end of the day than it had been at the start, so we had our first barbecue of the year, sitting at our new table on our new patio. Most enjoyable:-)
