Brilliant day!

July has been poor, this morning it was misty and 7° as I set off and then suddenly it burnt off and it was hot and sunny and it lasted all day!!! At the lochan, saw a Kite, Buzzard, Pipits, Crestie, Wigeon, Willow Warblers, Reed Buntings, Sand Martins and Swallows and Tortoiseshell and Speckled Wood butterflies..
Found a ewe with a serious wound on its flank. Went to tell the farmer and we agreed it looked like dog damage!
