SnowBall

In the dead of winter some intrepid Blackheathens left the comfort of home and hearth to enjoy the SnowBall.
This year is the seventieth anniversary of rhododendron festivals, and the queens from festivals past were celebrated.
The star of the night was Charlie, who was the town crier in one of the earliest festivals. If you go large you can better appreciate that twinkle in his eye.
I bet he never thought that role would earn him such status at the age of eighty seven.
Only in Blackheath:))
Blackheath Australia, that is.
I’ve no idea what they get up to in Blackheath England.
