Felt and stitch

Well it started raining during the night and is still going strong at 14:30 this afternoon.

Took Mrs C to a sewing get together with Blipper hildasrose near Kenilworth Castle. Blip is an image of a creation in felt and stitching. For regular followers no guessing as to where this image will be used.

Went on to a new sewing centre near where we live which was having its grand opening. I think Mrs C will become a regular visitor to this place.

The first extra is from the production of the Empress at the Swan Theatre. A great production of a story about racial and gender discrimination at the end of Queen Victoria’s reign. Very relevant to todays situation regarding immigration etc. The parallels were not over played. It was up to you to make the connections.

The second extra was taken outside a barn conversion at Wood Beavington near Evesham over looking the countryside. Shame they wanted 7 figures for the barn. As you can see it captures the greyness and dampness of the day.

On our way home we went in to a lamp shop as Mrs C needed a bright lamp for her workroom. This is the last thing I would have expected to be purchased today.
