Grey Heron

The little female was the only Heron who was over today, along with about 5 crows and the gull (there was also a very young and curious heron much further back).I think something was spooking them although I don't know what. The little female had a reasonable feed then stood totally still then took off back to the water, calling as she went. I continued feeding the crows and the gull then made my way round the loch. When I got to a clearing at the top I heard a call then a heron flew over to the edge of the water. It was the little female again. I gave her some more fish then made my way back to the entrance end of the loch. Iooked all the way up and knew nothing else would be coming over so turned to head home and saw the little female standing right behind me waiting. I gave her the rest of the fish then made for home.
This little one is just so amazing, she is so like the original young one!
