Yellow Bridge ...

Easy day, today. Beautiful weather, excellent possibility to make a bicycle ride through a part of the Green Heart just next to the Rotterdam area. You go through different suburban municipalities. One of them is Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel.

The intersection of the Westringdijk and the Dorpsstraat (main street) is the Gele Brug (Yellow Bridge), a drawbridge that is on the list of national monuments ... ;)
